The DiskStation DS115 Single Bay NAS Server from Synology is a file backup, storage, and sharing solution that comes equipped with one drive bay that is capable of natively supporting 3.5" SATA III (6 Gb/s) and SATA II (3 Gb/s) hard drives. Using its single drive bay, this NAS will allow you to store and share a large number of files, including videos, music, photos, and documents with up to 2,048 users over a local network or in the cloud.
The DS115 runs on Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM) OS, which is a browser-based operating system which helps to simplify managing your Synology NAS. Its CPU is a Marvell Armada 375 Dual-Core that runs at 800 MHz and its 512MB of DDR3 RAM allows frequently-used files and applications to be quickly accessed. The NAS is capable of achieving read speeds of 111 MB/s, write speeds of 104 MB/s, and features one USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, and one eSATA port which allows it to be connected to your Windows, Mac, or Linux system. Network connectivity is achieved via the included Gigabit Ethernet port, allowing your stored data to be shared with users throughout the network. Data may also be made remotely available through the free iOS and Android applications.
Using the integrated media server on the DS115, you have the ability to stream digital multimedia content from the DiskStation to media devices for local or remote playback. You may also stream movies and music to a DLNA/UPnP compatible device to enjoy your favorite movies or shows stored on the DiskStation.
The DS115 is also engineered to be energy efficient. Not only does it offer a larger fan and smart airflow to keep the system running cool at all times, its noise dampening design of 18.2 dB(A) makes for quiet operation. The server supports numerous scheduled power on / off cycles and hard drive hibernation to further minimize power consumption and operation expenses.
The DS115 operates on 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz and includes an accessory pack, an AC Adapter, an AC power cord, and an Ethernet cable.

We guarantee all systems against D.O.A.(not working). In the very unlikely event of a system arriving D.O.A, an RMA must be obtained and we will replace with exact item. RMA requests for D.O.A. must be received within 2 business days of receipt. Any damage or loss during shipping will be handled with the carrier and we will coordinate that with you and the carrier.
Any other returns must be in NEW, SEALED, Unopened packaging and we must be contacted for an RMA within 14 days of receipt. All returns within 14 days will be refunded minus shipping plus an 15% restocking fee after receipt and verification.
Any returns that are not in NEW, SEALED condition, will not be accepted and will be returned to you.
