We would like to take this opportunity to introduce to you our Ebay Store

Artists and Engravers: Charles William Meredith van de Velde (1818-1898) was a Dutch Navy officer, painter and mercenary. Van de Velde drew the drawings whilst he was a midshipman on the ZM Triton and later when he was working in Batavia for the Commission for the Improvement of Maps and Charts of Indonesia. He had the ambition to reproduce the beauty of Indonesian landscapes, in which he was inspired by the artists and other members of the French scientific expedition under Dumont D'Urville. Frans Buffa en Zonen was at that time the most famous lithographic workshop in Amsterdam. All 50 plates were carefully lithographed by the reknown Belgian lithographer Paulus Lauters (1806-1876), who also had worked for Goubau's lithographic printing office in Brussels. In 1836, when the Royal School for Engraving was founded by Antoine Dewasme at Brussels, Lauters was appointed professor of drawing. |

BUYER Responisibilties
We as sellers are responsible for shipping. However in case of lost or damaged items the BUYER is also required to take action & help solve the issue at hand. We can not do this alone since it also includes taking action in the country of the buyer. For instance by contacting USPS in the USA or ChinaPost in China. Buying from Antique Collectibles from ShangriLa also includes assisting in settling matter with shipping companies.
These BUYER Responsibilities include:
In case of LOST or Long Duration of packages we will contact our shipping company the BUYER must:
1. Contact his own shipping company.
2. Contact Customs.
3. Take all actions advised by the shipping company or customs.
We take good care of our packages. However shipping companies are sometimes very rough.
In case of broken or damaged items The Buyer MUST:
1. Take clear pictures of the package & item
2. File a claim within 1 WEEK at his own postal company to get an official document. This is often possible via E-mail or a form on the website.
3. Send this document & pictures to the SELLER.
4. After this is done the BUYER is refunded!
