1952 GMC M211 2.5 ton military truck

Date of delivery: 12-52 (December, 1952)
Serial number: 11577

This truck is located in Sylva, North Carolina.

The buyer will be required to pay a $200 deposit via PayPal immediately on purchase, with the balance due within 3 days via PayPal or in cash on delivery..

The truck must be picked up in Sylva within 3 days of sale, unless we have not yet arrived from Reno,
in which case we may be able to arrange for a friend to meet you where the truck is stored, or you may wait until we arrive some days or weeks after the sale.

The truck belongs to my girlfriend Zoe's father.
Several months ago, we moved him (Ken) to Reno, Nevada to live with us.
We are in the process of liquidating those of his possessions that we have not already had trucked out West.
Zoe and I will be driving to Sylva in late October, and will be available to show (and sell) the M211.
We should be in Sylva for several weeks.
Zoe has full power-of-attorney to sell for Ken.

Ken bought this beastie about 10 years ago, after trying to do so for some years, and eventually getting the seller to "give in".
After having it towed to his property in Sylva, he never did anything with it.
It's been parked under a carport roof the whole time.

Ken never had a title for the truck, so all we can offer to the buyer is a bill-of-sale.

The odometer shows under 1,000 miles.
Ken was told that this truck had a radar body on it at one point.

One of the diagonal frame crossmembers at the rear was cut out, perhaps for PTO driveshaft clearance.
One of the rear wheels/tires is missing.
As far as I know, Ken never tried to start it.
He said that a 24V to 12V conversion was partially undertaken by a previous owner.
