PLEASE READ:
If the device will not turn on even when plugged into a wall charger, the battery is not the issue. The ipod must turn on and function
normally and hold a small amount of charge and have simply lost ability
to hold charge over time. If the ipod turns off immediately when unplugged from power source, battery replacement will sometimes not fix the problem.
Please
back up all data on the ipod. After a new battery is installed, in
order to synch the new battery, a full factory restore through iTunes
will be required and ALL DATA, APPS, AND SETTINGS WILL BE LOST.
Also
some ipod circuit boards will sometimes start drawing power for no
reason, even when turned off. This is a circuit board issue that is NOT fixable. New batteries do not fix this issue and it is impossible to tell which devices will do this until battery replacement has been completed and tested. Once a battery has been installed and tested, all parts, labor, and return shipping have been invested into the repair and no refunds can be issued at this point.
There
is no guarantee that a new battery will fix all power issues
especially if you have had previous water damage. You have to trust
that a new battery was professionally tested on your ipod and once the
work is done to install and test the battery no refunds can be given.
