We accept the following types of payment for items purchased from our store:
PayPal enables you to send payments quickly and securely online using a credit card or bank account (once your payment is received through PayPal, your order is immediately processed).
eChecks through PayPal
When paying with eChecks, the item will be held until the funds have cleared, typically 3-4 business days. Once your payment has cleared, your order will be immediately processed.
An email will be sent to your email address or through eBay when we process your order. This will confirm your purchase and let you know of the status of your order.

All of our store products are brand new, unopened, and shipped directly from the manufacturer/distributor, or from our location to you.
We have a direct, one-on-one relationship with each of the manufacturers and distributors of our store products. Our one-on-one relationship ensures quick, accurate, and efficient order processing.
Upon receipt of your payment, we immediately process your order and generally ship within 1-2 business days. Items are shipped within the United States by UPS or FedEx Ground services, or by the United States Postal Service (USPS) using Priority Mail, First Class Mail, or Parcel Post. Type of shipment depends on size, shape, and weight of package.
Once your item(s) is shipped, we will notify you via email or through eBay and provide you with the following shipping and tracking information:
UPS or FedEx Ground: date when shipped, tracking number, and website link.
USPS Priority Mail and First Class Mail: date when shipped. The USPS typically delivers Priority Mail and First Class Mail within 2-3 days of shipment. Parcel Post has a delivery time within 2-8 days, depending on location of delivery.
The shipping fee for standard flat rate shipping service applies to shipments to locations within the contiguous United States.
For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico, please request a shipping quote.
When noted, "free ground shipping" refers to purchases shipped to locations within the contiguous United States.
We are also happy to arrange for expedited shipping upon request (e.g., Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, Express Mail, etc.). Please request a shipping quote.
Our store items are those that are regularly stocked. If, for some reason, an item is not available we will immediately notify you and let you choose whether you would like to cancel and receive a refund, choose another product, or wait until the item is back in stock. We will always, and to the best of our ability, work with you to ensure that you have a smooth and trouble-free transaction.
Returns
We guarantee 100% satisfaction or your money refunded. Please contact us within thirty (30) days if there is an issue with the product you have received and we will resolve it as quickly as possible and to your satisfaction. We will accept return of opened items provided all of the original contents (and packing materials) are included and in new condition. Once the item(s) is returned and determined to be in new condition, you will receive a refund for the cost of the item plus the cost of shipping to your address plus the cost of return shipping.
The Learning Factory is a family-owned business inspired by our children and our family's love of learning. As parents, we are constantly teaching our children about the world around, and beyond, us. Many of the same products you see in our store have been purchased, tried, and tested by our family including microscopes and accessories, games, toys, puzzles, and science experiment sets.
