Here is an antique rolled gold pocket watch with crown wind, signed to the dial with Hargreaves & Co, and the dial also features a smaller seconds dial, black arabic numerals and blued steel hands.
Inside, the case states 'Guaranteed IWC co (International Watch Company) Hargreaves & Co. rolled gold, 10 years, made in USA'.
The movement is signed Hargreaves & Co on the wheel, 7 jewels and numbered 68067.
In working condition, but please note I have not checked time keeping, and cannot guarantee it to be correct.
The watches I buy come from deceased country house estates and may never have been wound in years so I would recommend a service on them all....as the smallest speck of dust or dried oil can stop them.
The case is a slim one, nice and tactile.
The case measures approx 48mm dia x 6.5cm long overall to the suspension loop x 9mm deep including ther glass plastic.
In good condition with minimal age and use wear, only what is expected on such an item.....it has a small edge knock on the glass - crystal between 8 - 9.
I have wound the watch and it is ticking happy.
