Lovely Art Deco Quality Solid Silver Swiss Brevet, Travel, Purse Watch

Here is a fabulous rare art deco solid silver swiss brevet travel purse watch. The watch case measures one & a quarter inches by just over one & a half inches & is all made of solid silver with a typical early engraving to either side. This watch is a typical of the era travel purse watch with the case sliding to open & the watch pops up, its very neat & i havent not seen one like this for a long time. When you slide the case open, inside on both sides its clearly hallmarked & one side says, 925 for silver, patent applied for & SD & no-529534 & the other side says, 925 for silver, Brevet, cross emblem,no-138646, DRP no-512270 & patent applied for & SD. The watch is square & measures one inch square in a solid silver case which i havent opened as i dont want to cause any damage to the case as i dont know if i would be able to put the back on, withit being so tight in the casing. The dial is creme with what looks to be luminous numbers & hands & says, swiss made, shockproof but the dial is very dirty & the glass is well scratched with age. The watch is manual winding, but this watch doesnt seem to wind & obviously doesnt work & looks as if it hasnt been working for years, so this watch is for spares, repair etc & i have left the watch exactly as it is & you can see from the photos, so all origional & dates clearly to the art deco era. However a interesting art deco quality silver purse watch in condition as described & perhaps an nice project.
