The stainless steel blades are razor sharp. The unique skill of heat treatment and grinding, edging gives the knife the best possible function.
TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOUR HOUCHO
We strongly recommend hand-washing and hand-drying of the knife directly after use. For protecting the sharpness, never cut deep-frozen foodstuffs or thick fish bones except when using the HOUCHO Deba(fish bone knife), and never use it over oven flame. This will keep the blade sharp much longer. And this will not make the blade and the handle discloured.
DISH WASHER
It causes the High carbon stainless blade be rusted easily. Don't use it.

Molybdenum stainless steel: Stainless steel contain molybdenum makes knives firmer and sharper. Molybdenum doesn't get effect from high temperature and doesn't get stain. Air off dimple knife: Knives with air off dimple are easy to cut off food and you don't need strength to cut off, so it doesn't make you tired to use it for long hours . Even professional chefs prefer this knife. Medoushi finish: It makes some line constantly on surface of the knife since it doesn't show up much any damages if it gets. |
