The 272 diode laser cap is a portable laser device designed for the management of hair loss in both men and women. The laser device consists of 272 laser diodes, each with 5mW of power and is worn under any hat or cap.

How does laser hair therapy work?

The hair growth cycle consists of three phases: growth (anagen phase), resting (telogen phase) and shedding (catagen phase). Hair loss in androgenetic alopecia depends on a testosterone derivative in the skin, dihydrotestosterone (DHT). Low level laser therapy increases blood flow in the scalp and stimulates metabolism in catagen and telogen follicles, resulting in the production of anagen hair.

Stimulating the hair follicles resulting in new hair being grown, existing hairs will start to grow.
