Franka Solida Record B. C:1957. Designed to be used with two different film formats - 6x6 and 4x4. Serial number 492603. Fitted with an F/8 - 80 mm Spezial Objektiv lens with smooth focus.
The lens is fungus and scratch free but needs cleaning between the elements to make perfect. Focus and three stage aperture fine. Shutter is a simple two speed B & 30th Second design. Both work. Camera also has a synchronized flash connection that is untested by me.
The body of the camera is really very good, virtually mint. 9.5/10. A perfect display item as I can't see any evidence of use really. No dents, chips or scratches anywhere. The inside is mint as well. Film take up spool included.
Clear viewfinder and also a good original leather case included. Little bit of stitching loss at the top but really excellent in context of age. Case is stamped 'Made in the US Zone of Germany' as .is the camera film load door.
Hard to find one in this sort of condition.
