Together with HMS Dorsetshire was bombed and sunk by Dive-Bomber aircraft from a Japanese Aircraft Carrier Force.

HMS Cornwall - Kent Class Cruiser, built at Devonport Dockard, launched 11.03.1926

A brave ship which sunk in 12 minutes by nine 250lb to 550lb bombs. All boiler and engines being put out of action.
