Canada 1988 Calgary Olympics Set of 10 Silver Coins $200 Face Value 10 OZ ASW Box COA MINT

To commemorate the 1988 Calgary Olympic Winter Games, the Royal Canadian Mint produced this series of ten sterling silver coins between 1985 and 1988, each with face value of $20.00 and containing 1 OZ ASW of pure silver. Edge lettering was used for the first time on Canadian silver coins, and read, "XV OLYMPIC WINTER GAMES - JEUX OLYMPIQUES D'HIVER". The set includes the following winter sports: Downhill Skiing, Speed Skating, Hockey, Biathlon, Cross-Country Skiing, Free-Style Skiing, Figure Skating, Curling, Ski-Jumping and Bobsleigh. Original green plush box and certificates of authenticity are included as well.
