About this item:  A vintage, illustrated (black & white) program for celebrating Hartford, Connecticut's automobile jubilee (189-1947). Billed as an "exhibition of early model cars," the event was organized by the Hartford Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the VMCCA, Antique Auto Club and Horseless Carriage Club. Fully illustrated with lots of neat pictures of cars participating in the event, historic black & white photographs and unique ads (one features James Melton, an ardent antique car enthusiast). Nice historical write-ups on: Pope Manufacturing Company, Harry Bell's display of automobile nameplates, the Glidden Tours, etc. Please read condition description and see all pictures for more information.

Condition: In overall nice condition for its age with some wear from use, mainly along edges and corners. Some shelf wear. Staining on back cover. Interior pages nice throughout. Binding firm.
