A Beautiful Copeland Spode Plate from the Aesthetic Period - and in the Japanese Style of The Aesthetic Movement - Decorated with Pattern No. D9875. Having a Stork in flight - a Fish in it's beak, a Richly Coloured Butterfly at the rim and Colourful Bamboo/Palm Plants on a small Island.

Condition: In Good Antique condition with no chips, cracks or restorations. The Decoration is Clear and Vibrant although quite worn in places - particularly to the brown of the bamboo stalks. There is wear and tear to the decoration around the shoulder of the plate. There are very short, fine surface scratches which are hardly noticeable face-on.
Backstamp: This piece has a 'Copeland B 1' Imprinted Backstamp together with the handwritten Pattern No. which is very worn away, An imprinted number which I cannot make out and the Workman's Mark
