The 6063 series of modular products is a flexible and cost effective

solution for general purpose distribution, conversion and signal

processing functions. Comprising a 3U rackframe for 12 modules

and a 1U rack frame for 3 modules, the family offers a reliable

and versatile mix and match architecture with special emphasis on

distribution products and small monitoring switchers, etc.

3U Rackframe for up to 12 Modules

The 3U frame has a robust construction, fully compliant with EMC standards,

and offers the benefit of convection cooling. Two mains transformers are fitted

as standard, giving automatic supply redundancy. These transformers provide

twin ac power rails along the motherboard, with each card locally rectifying

and regulating from these to suit its individual requirements. This arrangement

not only removes the PSU as a major point of failure, but additionally

distributes the heat dissipation evenly across the frame.

The 6063 frame is designed to comply with the EMC standard contained in

EN55103-1 and EN55103-2. For environments E2 (Commercial and Light

Industrial) and E4 (Controlled EMC environment). All Pro-Bel products are

designed to comply with the international safety standards EN60950

and UL1419.
