These pens are quite simply the best; I use them for school 5 days a week without a doubt. I've went through many pens -- breakages, leaking ink etc., but because the ball in these pens is actually made from tungsten (one of the hardest materials on Earth) leakages never happen and so far smooth flow of ink! Common problems that this pen does NOT have -- leakages, Poor Flow of Ink, Too much ink flow, Sticking Ball. 5-Stars for a 5-Star product!
I have to say that these pens are without a doubt the best pens that have ever existed. My wife and I go through so much stationery in our business that we have tried almost every pen on the market and the Bic ballpoint pen is undoubtedly the best. They write MUCH further than the others, they hardly ever jam or get stuck, they start writing as soon as you do and the quality of the write is second to none. I don't want to sound like a geek but I saw a program on the Discovery Channel called 'How they make it' and it showed how they make the Bic ballpoint pen -- it was amazing to see how many quality tests are carried out and how much effort goes into each Bic pen -- awesome! Anyway, compared to all the 'cheapo' or 'own label' pens out there, value for money and quality you cannot go wrong with this Bic.
These pens are classic - they write smoothly and reliably every time they are used. There is no matted ink between use, you don't need to lick the tip or do anything else to prompt the ink to flow freely. There is no spillage with them. An absolute joy to use. What more can I say - simply the best.
It's an old cliche but it is the original and still the best. I've tried my fair share of cheaper brands (and some more expensive) but I always end up coming back to the Bic classic.

These really are marvelous things. Sometimes one has a desire to convey information to others when one isn't physically present. Previous to my purchase of these miracle sticks I had to cut myself with a sharp object and write a message in my own blood. Sometimes this led to me passing out. As the only messages I leave are insulting graffiti or ransom notes you can well imagine the embarrassment that this caused.
I was looking for an upgrade from my HB2 Pencil and I was unsure about what to go for until I came across this Bic pen. I was really excited about opening my new product once it had arrived, For the first few days after ordering my new pen I was slightly unsure about how to actually use it, it came with no instruction guide. It was not until later in the week and countless hours of attempting to write I checked Google and realized that the black tip at the end was removable only to reveal the 'nib' of the pen. This black removable thing was in fact a lid to keep ink fresh. After I started to write (also this pen may be used for doodling and scribbling) I was amazed at the quality of the ink, it was no cheap ink like you would find in other cheap pens at your local retailers, this ink is something special, and it does not smudge either. The biggest major flaw with this pen (which is possibly a design fault) is that I am assuming this pen is for left handers only (although the packaging did not mention this), I think this because I can write superbly neat in my left hand but when I switch over to my right hand I start to write as if i were wearing a blindfold, so to all you 'right handers' stay away from this product. The design of this pen was really well thought out, the 'see through' barrel of the pen allows you to keep watch over how much ink you have left to write with in the pen, so when you are running out you can simply order a new pen in time. I take my new pen everywhere with me and could not leave home without it, somebody even saw that I had a brand new Bic and asked me if they could borrow it! They must have seen how good this pen was as they tried to walk off with it, but I managed to get it back and they claimed 'they forgot'. Anyway I am overall pleased with this product. Only negative point is the lack of instructions on operating this pen.
While the build quality and ink capacity are undoubtedly top notch this item is let down by it's intermittent output faults. I wrote a test page and found it completely illegible however my wife, when performing the same test, had far neater results. I have also found that although spelling many words correctly the BIC Cristal has difficulty spelling the words necesary, acomodation and reconaisance.
