have also used it with Pianoteq and Synthogy's Ivory II piano software.
It also worked on my Roland keyboards.
NOTE: This type of pedal unit is not just an on/off switch, you can use it as a continuous controllers/pedals as it has potentiometers built into each of the three pedals.
The potentiometers' travel has been limited at the Yamaha
factory when it was made.
If you want the full midi data range of 0-127, do as I did and set/calibrate
this parameter in your midi sequencing software for each pedal. It is for you to check if your
particular software has the editing features.
Depending on your keyboard or sequencer you can assign any midi parameter to each pedal.
