You are bidding on a 'one off' bass guitar, that may be the ultimate Xmas present for the biggest 'Ocean Colour Scene' fans out there!!

The background:

This is a genuine Takamine EG512C acoustic bass that was owned and played by Damon Minchella, courtesy of Ocean Colour Scene, the Who, Paul Weller band, the Family Silver and currently part of the Richard Ashcroft band. One of the best and most innovative bassists to come out of this country over the last twenty five years (in my humble opinion). 

So how did I come to own this bass? 

Damon was in the process of moving house in Gloucestershire and looking to downsize his bass collection, and discretely sold three guitars on eBay in February 2015. I was lucky enough to win two of the three basses via eBay auction!

The basis is sold in full working order and has no plays since purchasing the guitar from Damon. For me, it was a 'bucket list' that I have not made time to master the art of bass playing!? 

Please note and read the 'condition description'. Please look at all twelve pictures taken with my 12mp camera. This is a great looking guitar in fabulous condition, and it is clear that this has not been 'gigged'. There was no cover included in the purchase from Damon, but I have purchased a gig soft case that will be included in the sale listing.

Collection is available from the Buxton, Derbyshire area if you would prefer to collect. the guitar will be detached via courier and is available for world-wide sale.
