This player has been tested to the extent that I could test it. The dvd and laser disc trays open and close flawlessly. It plays dvds very well. I could not test the laser disc playback as I do not have access to a laser disc. There are some minor surface scratches and scuffs on the top of cabinet but this unit looks good overall. There is no remote control. It is being sold as is. It will be packaged well for safe shipping.
