I went to this estate auction and there was this monster and beautiful looking TASCAM 3030 Reel to Reel Tape Recorder. I do not have the ability to test this out but I plugged it in and it does power up. I lifted up the levers and the hubs spin. There is little else I can check unless you suggest for me to do some things and get back to you to give you a better idea of condition. This came from an estate auction of a group of studio equipment and decided to invest in the group. The auction information stated that the equipment has been sitting for some time and I do not have the information as to why. Based upon my research the starting price here should be considered very much below proper value regardless of condition. I am presuming there will be large interest in the deck and am offering anyone to make a fair offer to consider ending the auction early .
