This is the real deal, NOT a reissue.  I am the original owner of this amp and used it in the late sixties with my Vox Continental organ and never abused it.  It was taken out for gigs a few dozen times at most.  It has been in storage ever since.

According to the tube chart, the date code is QF, indicating a manufacture date of June 1967.

Cosmetics:

§  Overall, the amp is in EX+ condition, about the best you can find for an amplifier of this vintage. See for yourself by examining the high-resolution photos.

§  There are no tears or significant scratches in the grille or Tolex.

§  The amp is all original. All hardware, including knobs, jewel light, tiltback legs, handle, and Fender logo are original.

§  There is some pitting on the two nickel plated top chassis straps, which is to be expected for an amplifier of this vintage.  They can be replaced with new ones for around $10, but I’ve decided to leave the original ones intact.

§  The power cord is original, but the plug has been replaced.

§  Comes with a new Fender vinyl cover, not the original.

Operation:

§  This amp is loud! The sound is clean and free of hum and noise although the amp still retains its original capacitors and the original tubes of the era.

§  The pots are smooth and noise free.

§  The two original Fender 12” speakers were swapped out with EV's a long time ago, but have recently been replaced with new Weber Chicago 12F150’s.

§  Includes the original dual footswitch.

This amp is HEAVY and will be expensive to ship. I will have it professionally packed by Fedex or UPS for ground shipment at buyer's expense.  The cost shown for shipping in the auction is an estimate and does not include packing by UPS or Fedex. I will notify the buyer of the cost at time of shipment.

Local pickup is preferred, or I may be able to deliver this amp within the metro NYC area, depending on location.  Sorry, New Jersey is excluded.
