Up for sale is this late 1960's 'Vito' pro model Eb alto saxophone by Beaugnier of France, stenciled for Leblanc. These are great, low priced horns for Jazz, and highly sought after! It is lacquered brass with straight tone-holes and gold plated springs, and is in excellent vintage condition, with 100% original lacquer and no repairs. It has tan kid pads (with domed resonators) in great condition. I oiled them and the mechanism, replaced some cork, and adjusted for optimal play-ability. Warm, fat vintage sound, but can sit up and bite with the right mouthpiece; free blowing, with great ergonomics and intonation. I am really pleased with the play-ability of the instrument! Comes with original case (and lyre) in solid condition. late 1960's 'Vito' pro model Eb alto saxophone by Beaugnier of France, stenciled for Leblanc. My Qualifications

I am a trained woodwind instrument tech and past member of NAPBIRT (the National Association of Professional Band Instrument Repair Technicians) working out of a private shop in Central VA and have restored many instruments for sale on ebay. I believe that my 12 years of positive feedback speaks for itself and that you will be happy with this item! Please check out the Vintage Clarinet Doctor on Facebook!

Why Vintage Clarinets?

I believe that vintage clarinets represent one of the most underpriced and underutilized resources on the market. While there is some junk out there, there are many makes and models that are good to excellent players if properly overhauled and that will provide satisfaction to collectors, students and even pro players while saving the buyer hundreds of dollars! Nickel and grenadilla wood are increasingly finite resources and the craftsmanship on some of these old horns makes them a real pleasure to own. Why not try a vintage clarinet from the Vintage Clarinet Doctor see the difference for yourself?
