Monumental mid century danish modern Model 66 teak sideboard/credenza
designed by Ib Kofod Larsen for Faarup Møbelfabrik, C1960s. This
stunning piece of mid century art is an earlier model created by the
legendary designer. It features a sleek, minimalist profile, stunning
teak wood grains and tons of functional storage. Four large cabinet
doors showcase sprawling book-matched teak veneers. The left cabinet
opens up to reveal five felt lined drawers, while the three adjacent
cabinets offer adjustable shelving. The sculpted, solid teak base has a
slightly curved edge for added design flair. Slim, tapered feet finish
off the handsome profile of the piece. The top surface shows off more
sprawling teak wood grains and features 90"+ of surface area. The
seamless finished back allows this gorgeous piece to effortlessly float
in the room. Whether you choose to use as a stylish sideboard, media
console or credenza, this is a truly timleless piece of mid century
design that will easily be the focal point of any modern living space
for decades to come.
