This is for a beautiful antique signed Japanese mixed metal cigarette case from the very early 1900s. It has a black enamel background and has been hand engraved in parts as well as inset with gold,silver and copper to depict various parts of the scene. The scene on the front is a Japanese house with mount fuji in the background done in silver. It has that lovely minimal Japanese aesthetic and it displays beautifully.The case is signed on the back and has two little bird one in gold & one in silver, on the inside it is all Matt Black the elastic that held the contents are missing. The case case is slightly curved to fit the pocket and it is in good condition with light surface wear & what looks like rust?  Closed it measures 80mm by 85mmm tall.
