This is a fabulous estate find! Up for your consideration is this newel post antique spelter figural lamp featuring a lovely Victorian lady with lace dress, hat, and holding what I believe is a rose! Finial on shade holder is an acorn! Finish is a bronze/brass color. Stands 25.5" tall to the top of the finial. Post has a nice swirl design. The base is a hexagon shape with a beaded ring above that and the draped piece that the lady is standing on. For some reason the two pieces are not tight to the hexagon base. Not sure if it is meant to be that way or if it somehow needs to be tightened. I am not real familiar with this type of lamp. On the top piece you can see the Paris France foundry stamp. Please ask questions. Offered at very reasonable price for a post lamp like this.
