The bottom of the bone saddle can be filed if you want to lower the action, but I suggest you try it as is first

To really bring out the beautiful grain of the Rosewood and prevent it drying or cracking I recommend treating it with with a Fretboard Oil (like Dunlop 65) after it has been installed -but don't apply any oil until the bridge has been glued into place and the glue allowed to cure thoroughly

Fitting

Here's some info on fitting a new uke bridge, obviously it's provided as is with no warranty etc and you can probably find better How To's with a little Googling.

Before gluing make sure you position the bridge in the right place, the fret length is from the NUT to the SADDLE not the actual bridge, if you're replacing a damaged bridge measure that distance first before you remove the old bridge and carefully scrape off any old glue. Once you have the right position for the bridge use a few layers of masking tape around it to stop it sliding. At this point I'd remove the saddle if it's in place or it'll be in the way of your clamp. Apply glue evenly to the bottom of the bridge (some use hide glue others prefer more modern wood glues). Sit the bridge in place and clamp it carefully so it won't move whilst the glue dries and cures, when clamping be carefull not to break your uke body. Once the clamp is in place and the bridge not moving remove the tape before the glue welds it to your uke. Any glue squeezed out should be removed with a little warm water but take care not to move the bridge. Let the glue cure for as long as the label says it needs.

The Base is 82 x 25mm, and the upper saddle part and tie block are 53mm across.

As mentioned the Saddle is actual BONE not plastic.
