These are Brand New! I can see no real insertion marks and they may have micro scratches somewhere from cleaning, but I can't really see any! Nothing shows up in pictures under magnification, keep in mind that these are close to 30 years old and the early iridium is so delicate that even cleaning them will leave micro scratches. They aren't seconds or B stock. Probably as close to perfect as you'll find for a 30 year old lens. I think you will be happy with these if you are looking for a set. The only issue is that the foam has deteriorated as happens with almost all of theses after 30 years!
(There are some minor scuff marks on the clear box that show in the pictures but they are on the outside of the box NOT the lens)
