Up for bid is a wonderful vintage New Year postcard. Featured is a colorful picture taken from a photo of a lovely young post-Victorian girl dressed in period winter attire. She's standing next to a wreathe that contains a cheery holiday greeting. The wreathe rests on an old wood sled. When you supersize image 1 you can see the detail that was used to wonderfully capture this moment.
Printed in pre-WWI Germany, this beautiful postcard has not been postally used and has lightly penciled handwriting on the divided back.
