Offered here is a highly attractive and decorative vintage Chinese porcelain vase.
Marked to the base with the red seal for the UNITED WILSON factory - Hong Kong.
It reads: 'Living Alone' or 'In Retirement', 'overseen and produced'.
I'm dating to around mid 20th Century.
Of high-shouldered, slightly tapering, square section form.
Very striking with hand-painted blue decoration depicting foliage, flowers and birds but here overlaid with a rich, warm yellow/orange glaze.
A super, vintage 20th century vase from a collected factory.
Dimensions:
Large. Approx 14.5 inches tall.
Condition:
In good order.
There is some crazing and firing imperfection to the glaze - in particular the yellow/orange glaze, which here has been applied quite thickly. Please look at the close up shots.
The vase still looks very striking.
