Yoga /Meditation Stool . Solid Wood(sustainable Swedish redwood).Natural wood finish. Strong steel hinge. Legs hinge to store flat. Use to support your body when kneeling. Seat 42cm X 14.5cm. Height of legs 17.5cm at back 15cm at front (so the seat slopes down to follow the angle of your legs) Easily carried (weight 1kg). All sizes and weights approximate.You use the stool by kneeling on the floor(or mat) and putting it over your legs and sitting on it, this takes the weight off of your legs and body.Please note that the wood is what`s called softwood as opposed to hardwood(i.e.oak) this means it does mark quite easily, obviously I endeavor to minimise these but occasionally there may be the odd one or two.They may also have small cracks/splits which are caused by the wood drying out, these have no effect on it`s use as a stool.There also may some discolouration to the pine, this is purely natural and merely cosmetic.This normally only appears on one side and I will always make sure it is underneath.Wood ,being a natural product, is not always flat and true and there may be a slight twist in the stool which may well cause it to rock slightly,please don`t buy if it bothers you.If appearance is important it may be worth considering a hardwood version rather than mine. They are available for about £50 on E bay .Please also note they are not for standing on! This is a reasonable priced practical meditation stool and if you buy one you should do so on that basis,it`s for using not looking at!
