ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN JAMES DIXON & SONS SILVER-PLATED THREE-PIECE TEA SET

This lovely silver-plated tea set consists of a teapot, milk jug and sugar bowl. Each piece is marked on the base with the maker's mark for James Dixon & Sons with the number 34783. We would estimate the set to date from c.1910 and it has a nice shape. All the pieces are supported on bun feet.

Condition: Overall in very good condition with some wear consistent with age and use. There is some surface scratching and wear and a few tiny dents. There is a more significant dent to the side of the milk jug. There is some tarnishing.

The approx. dimensions are as follows:

Teapot - 16.5cm high, 28cm long (spout to handle).          (Ref. #12798)
