Selkirk Glass Paperweight made in the Scottish Borders.
It has a Selkirk glass label on the base and an etched inscription with all issue details.
This one is called Masquerade and is in perfect condition with no chips or scratches.
It is a nice large magnum one with a height of about 3 inches (diameter 3 1/4 inches)
The weight is certainly very attractive and has two prominent swirls or twists of purple and midnight blue these twist and turn from the base to the top of the weight.
There are carefully positioned air bubbles in the top of the weight near the outer rim section.
Looking down from the top you can see a sparkling crystalline base with similar plum colours in the twists.
