For your pleasure, we have here a traditional 9K Solid White Gold Sri Lankan Blue Sapphire Claddagh Ring. This lovely piece is set with a single heart-shaped large 6mm x 6mm rich Sri Lankan Blue Sapphire. The piece really does have a heart of fire. Steeped in Irish tradition. It has all you would expect from a quality piece of handmade jewellery. A beautiful claw set Heart-shaped Blue Sapphire. A nice thick band that starts at 4.5mm and tapers to 2.5mm and a beautifully designed crown and hands. The Sapphire is magic against the crisp coolness of the solid 9K White Gold.
As you can see from the images the gemstone has slight markings (internal inclusions/external inclusion if we are being specific factually!:) and are made during the formation of the gemstone over millions of years in the Earth.
This is quite normal with a stone this size and does not detract from the splendour of the Sapphire. It is "eye clean".
As we are Jewellers we can make this piece to order in most finger sizes at no additional cost to you.

The Claddagh's distinctive design features two hands clasping a heart,and usually surmounted by a crown. The elements of this symbol are often said to
correspond to the qualities of love(the heart), freindship (the hands), and loyalty (the crown). The expression which was associated with these symbols in the giving of the ring was: "With my two hands I give you my heart, and crown it with my love." Yet, the expression, "Let love and friendship reign forever" can befound as another meaning for the symbols.
The way that a Claddagh ring is worn on the hand is usually intended to convey the wearer's romantic availability, or lack thereof. The ring is worn on the right hand with the heart facing outward to show that the wearer is not romantically linked but is looking for love. When turned inwards, it is shown that the wearer is in a relationship, or their heart has been "captured". Noting that the heart is pointing down the hand and into the veins which lead the the wearer's heart. The ring worn on the left hand with the heart facing outward shows the wearer is engaged; turned inward indicates the wearer is married

Most of our rings can be expertly resized “in house” as we are a working UK jewellers. If the ring can be resized it is usually indicated in the table above. We can resize most rings from size L-Q 1/2 (UK) 11-17 (EU) 6 -8 half (USA) for a flat rate of £9.99 (UK) €14.99 Euros (EU Members) $16 (USA). Please check current Currency rates as they do fluctuate. We can also resize to other sizes for a small nominal cost. Please Email. Ring resizing normally takes between 3-7 working days added to the delivery time. We do appreciate that sometimes if the item is to be presented as an Anniversary/Birthday gift or any other special occasion you may require the item before the delivery time. We do make exceptions in these cases and can often turn items for resizing around within 1-2 days. Please liaise by e-mail with us directly if this is the case and we will do our best to accommodate. From time to time we do have occasions when we do send out second chance offers. This can be for a variety of reasons including, change of circumstances, winner unable to pay. As we are a working UK jewellers not only do we resize our own rings we can also resize your independent purchases. We also engage in engraving, polishing of items. Simply email us with your requirements and we will email you with a price list and set up a separate EBay store listing for you to purchase against. 
We have tried to keep our delivery and packaging charges simple. Most items within our store/shop are normally shipped Free of Charge World Wide unless otherwise stated. Auction items are shipped at a flat rate of £6.00 with any additional items shipped together free of charge, fully insured. All items are sent insured and require a signature. Please be mindful of this if you are at work. The courier will normally leave a card for you to call to make alternate arrangements. If you do have difficulty with delivery we can track the item and provide a tracking number for you. Simply email us with the item number or sales record number. |
We are fully committed to providing an excellent customer experience and as such if you are not happy with your purchase for whatever reason you may return/exchange the item to us within 7 days of receipt. We ask for the following to be adhered to.
The item must be returned to Mondiall in its original packaging and box, unworn and with the security tag unbroken if applicable. The item must be sent by insured delivery/courier. This is important as it allows the tracking of the item. The sender bears the cost of this. Please email us for a Returns Authorisation Number and return delivery address.
Refunds are applied 4-7 working days after receipt as the item needs to be inspected by Mondiall.
We accept most payment methods including Paypal, UK cheques, Bank Transfers, Postal Orders. Please note that cheques require 5-7 working days for cleared payment. If paying by Bank Transfer or Cheque (UK only) you are entitled to a 1.5% discount from the item win price. Please email once the item has been won for our Bank details  |
