Here is a very rare Kodak No. 3 String Set box camera. It has the original sector shutter. The string as well as the brass pull have been replaced. The shutter needs some help to be cocked by ingaging the trigger arm, by moving it slightly by hand into a slot, after the string is pulled. Once that is done, the shutter stays cocked, and it does fire when the button on the side is pushed. The focus mechanism works. The strap is original but shows wear. The camera has a lot of its leather but it is in poor shape and missing in areas. It does not come with its key. The serial numbers on the back match those embossed on the top. The dimensions of the camera are approx. 4 1/4" x 11 3/8" x 5 1/2". These early String Set Kodaks are quite rare. In seperate auctions I also have a No. 1 and No. 2 String Set Kodaks up. At the bottom of the pictures I took a picture of all three together so you can see there size difference. This auciton is only for the No. 3 String Set Kodak the No. 1 and No. 2 String Sets are not included in this auction. I can combine shipping on multiple purchases. Buyer pays shipping and the shipping quote includes insurance.
