This item was tested in my basement and I was able to get several stations in along with some static. I got this radio as part of a collection, most radios in the collection were not used for quite sometime. Therefore I would suggest giving this radio a cleaning and tune up after purchasing here. Body looks great see photos to judge for yourself. Backboard is solid, some rust on two of the lower screws/brackets holding in the backboard.
