MINDBURNER'S 10 way EDITION MIDI THRU

He's gone mad! with his 10 way splitter. This device *may* improve your love life. Well not quite. It does provide 10 midi thru's though. Enough for your future synth needs.

Got MIDI gear? Want to control more than one module or synth? Want a simple device?

Then this MIDI splitter will do the trick.

What does it do?
This midi through box will provide 10 outputs from 1 input.
There is no noticeable signal drop or delay in it's design. This device saves ‘daisy chaining’ all your keyboards i.e. linking one device to the next. It provides full signal (all the usual MIDI messages) to slave devices.

How is it powered?
Comes with 2.1 to USB lead to power from USB source
(0.75m L)

No USB? Can also use pretty much any 5-7v DC 'wallwart' type power transformer. With a 2.1 mm female plug. Positive on the Tip of the plug. Usually folk have one of these in a drawer. Plenty on eBay.
A 5v USB iphone type power supply will also work

Please note...There is no wallwart supplied as standard with this unit.

How do I connect it?
Plug in a master controller keyboard MIDI out into the MIDI IN jack on the splitter.
Plug in slave modules, synths and drum machines etc..into the 10 MIDI thru jacks
Plug in said Power adapter/USB lead.
Job done

Can I get a case?
I don't supply a case as it really doesn't need one, at least in average studio conditions. Also I wanted to keep the price very keen, a case would add to the build cost considerably. I am looking into this though. Maplin and others sell small enclosures which could be used if you're into a bit of DIY.

Do you do a kit/sell PCB's?
No sorry just preassembled

Don't need that many. Do you do a 5 or 7 way?
Oh yes. Check my other sales.
