Vintage Large Mid Century Figurine Set Occupied Japan

Offered is a Vintage Very Large Mid Century Man & Woman Set Made in Occupied Japan. Each measures over 12" tall and is 4" wide at the base. The "Made in Occupied Japan" (marks on bottom) dates these pieces c.1946-1952, just after WWII. This set is LARGE, BEAUTIFUL and  very Mid Century Chic. These are considerably larger than the usual pieces produced (these are the only ones I've seen!) I have no further information on this set. I have priced it for quick sale. There are no issues that I can see. Some glaze loss on the edge of the woman's fan and applied paint loss (see pictures) are two indicators of the vintage of these pieces. The "Spaghetti" on both pieces is in great shape with no damage. This set is in FANTASTIC VINTAGE ESTATE CONDITION and I will leave any cleaning to you, the collector. I pack very carefully and ship within 2 business days of clear payment.  I will accept returns on this item BUT PLEASE look carefully at the pictures.
