HOW TO CHOOSE AND ORDER A NAME PLATE.

1. Measure the total width of your frame along the bottom edge

3. Choose your wording

MAXIMUM OF TWO LINES PER NAME PLATE - USUALLY 24 LETTERS OR SPACES PER LINE - BUT CAN BE UP TO 30 (see John Robertson Reid above, these letters are smaller because there are more of them)

The top line is the title of the painting which will mainly be in lower case italics

The bottom line is the artist name with dates if wanted in regular block capitals.
