Bad bits first: CD
input developed some hum. It is due to Nordost tight fit and would probably just
need some soldering to make right. All other inputs work nicely. Very nice amplifier,
it does something interesting in the midrage that later AVI amps somehow lost. It
has quite a fan base and was regarded especially good for Quad electrostats. Quite
rare now, very sought after.
No remote but it came
with All for All anyway and should work with one of these. The case has been
nicely repainted in shiny black. The original grey finish didn’t look anywhere
as good and scratched easily. Overall there are some
marks here and there but it looks great. It retailed at £999.00
