Up for auction is a Yamaha Natural Sound Hi-Bit CD Player Optical Audiophile CDX-1020 *VERY RARE*

No remote. Speakers NOT included. 

Condition:

Unit is in good cosmetic condition showing moderate to heavy wear. There are scratches and scuffs here and there mainly on the case of the unit. The most significant wear is on the right center of the top showing two large scratches and a scrape that has removed some of the finish. Other than this the unit is actually pretty clean, especially the face which is in amazing condition showing only a small nick on the bottom edge and a few very light and tiny scratches on the display which is nice and bright and clear.

Functionality:

Unit has been fully tested and all functions and features appear to work properly. It powers up as it should and CDs play without issue (no skipping or freezing). The CD tray has a small issue, the tray door sometimes doesn't shut smoothly and you have to assist it to close. It opens just fine. I believe this is due to the fact that at the hinge of the tray door there are two pieces of plastic on each side that the bottoms have broken off. The absence of these small plastic parts causes the door to not quick lock in snug so it closes flush. It's a very minor issue but something worth noting and possibly a quick fix. This defect does not affect the performance of the player however.
