ATTENTION MINNESOTA RESIDENTS:  Thanks to Minnesota’s recent law regulating sales of “bullion coins” (see the 17 July 2014 notice in CoinsWeekly online), I will NOT sell any silver or gold coins to Minnesota residents. If you are a Minnesota resident, I respectfully request that you do not bid on this item. If you are unhappy with this situation, please contact the Minnesota Department of Commerce.

This auction is for a very attractive silver (0.925) Canadian (Newfoundland) 1917-c 25 cent piece from the reign of King George V of Great Britain that shows only the very slightest traces of wear on the highest devices; It does have a few contact marks as well as some small dark surface deposits on the reverse - see images. It appears to have retained traces of luster in recessed areas near the rims and appears (to me, anyway) much nicer in hand than these images would indicate.

If you win an auction, please do not submit payment until you receive an invoice, as postage/handling fees may vary depending on the final selling price and shipping destination. Also, as I usually set the shipping charges based on the maximum expected selling price, shipping charges may be reduced on the invoice if coins sell for a lesser amount. Regardless, I always obtain proof of mailing for all shipments. Multiple purchases from auctions that close within a 72-hour period may be combined for reduced postage (unless an item is unusually heavy or bulky, this will amount to US$.50 per additional auction item, based on the highest individual item shipping cost). Please contact me immediately after winning an auction if you intend on any further bidding within this 72-hour window. Also, please contact me before paying if you do not receive a combined invoice for such multiple purchases. Payment is requested within three days of invoice receipt; non-payers will be reported to eBay after 10 days. If for any reason after receiving your item you feel that you cannot leave positive feedback, please contact me immediately.

ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS: Items ship at buyer's risk with regular First Class mail; I do not accept responsibility for parcels lost, stolen or delayed by customs outside of the USA. Registered Mail is an additional $14.95 in addition to First Class postage and ensures traceability and safe delivery of parcel and will will be required for any item selling for US$50.00 or more. I always obtain proof of mailing at our post office, but purchasers choosing uninsured shipment when insurance is offered must assume responsibility for any item lost during said shipment. NOTE: I apologize for the apparent high shipping costs, but the USPS recently has greatly increased the rates charged for mailing small parcels overseas. I do my best not to make any extra money on shipping.

I will ship without question to North America, western Europe, Japan, and Australia/New Zealand. As a general rule, I will not ship to Africa, Central America, China, much of the Middle East, Russia, or other countries formerly part of the Soviet Union; bidders wishing an exception to this policy, including those from other countries not otherwise mentioned, please contact me before bidding. Returns accepted only if the item received differs substantially from the auction description, and return is within 14 days of receipt; return postage is responsibility of buyer. In all cases, the item(s) received will be the item(s) in the auction photograph; in some instances it may be in a different holder, if the original one is too badly damaged.

In all cases where I offer a grading opinion, please use your own criteria if you decide to bid.

If you have any questions regarding this auction, please ask before bidding, and thank you for reading through all this!
