This listing is for a Zenith Model 5B29 Single Ended EL84 Stereo Tube Amplifier with two of three knobs.

The codes on the 12AX7 read mC6, followed by the Herleen Delta symbol and 8L. This tells us it's an Amperex, branded for Zenith and, while it's very hard to see and even harder to photograph, it may be one of the sought after 17mm Long Gray Plates, D Getter with foil versions! We can't guarantee that.

The codes on the EL84 tubes read rX3 XK8, indicating Philips, but they have the four ridges on top that are distinctive of Mullard, so we can't be sure where in Europe they were made. They may also have D getters.

It is a Console pull, with knobs. May have scuffs, scratches or dings. When tested in the console, we heard a loud hum. At first, we thought that was just the filter caps, but after removal we discovered an aftermarket tuner in the cabinet, so it may have been that. A longer power cord had been spliced on and "insulated" with masking tape. Clearly that is unsafe, so we cut it off. Sold as-is, as a restoration project and due to its age there are no guarantees that you will experience the same results that we did.

This is the only one on ebay and we're open to reasonable offers - don't let it get away!
