This amazing bracelet was made by the firm of Murrle, Bennett and Company, an Anglo-German firm started by Ernst Murrle and J.B. Bennett, which produced pieces for retail by 'Liberty and Co.', the famous London Store.
The company was in existence from 1884-1914, this bracelet was most likely made around 1900. They specialised in high quality affordable silver and gold jewellery. They produced pieces predominately in the Art Nouveau style, as their designs were often characterised by abstract motifs typical of this era.
After World War I, the company was renamed White Redgrove & Whyte. Murrle Bennett & Co jewellery is now highly sought-after and widely collected.
