Magnificent very highly and superbly detailed Scottish Antique solid sterling silver mustard pot with spoon and glass liner, The base of mustard pot is hallmarked Edinburgh 1828 with the makers mark being F&Ss, the lid is hallmarked from the same year but makers mark is that of Charles Campbell. The mustard spoon is hallmarked Edinburgh 1826 and carries the makers mark of F&Ss. A hugely impressive piece of significant weight, there is play on the hinge and some loss of gilt to the interior, couple of small pinhead holes to the high points next to the engraved cartouche(very very minor). In the main one of the nicest examples we have seen in a very long time. Glass Liner is perfect, the spoon has wear to the gilt finish of the bowl. Spoon measures 108mm in length and the pot measures approx 4 3/4 inches in length.
