This is a beautiful Shirley Temple 17 inch doll by IDEAL TOY CO. She was made in the late 1950's because the adult Shirley's TV show was breaking all records. Once again, Shirley Temple was the darling as she was in the 1930's.
This Shirley is in beautiful condition. Her body is all of one tone, her hair is factory set, she has the wonderful flirty eyes and there are no stains, breaks, or doors with her.
Shirley wears Ideal panties, a complimentary crinoline, and her beautiful rose color party dress. The dress is near mint with not one issue. It is made of a rose color nylon fabric with lace trimmed baby doll sleeves. The bodice and very full skirt are trimmed with Cluny lace as all her dresses are. A blue satin ribbon details her waist and matches the blue satin bow in her curls.She wears vintage socks and original black floral toe Mary Jane shoes. Also she has her original name pin at her waist and she wears an adorable pair of white chiffon, lace- trimmed gloves. She has a double cultured pearl bracelet on the right wrist and the familiar wrist tag on the left.
