Exceptional and downright stunning 1957 Fender Stratocaster in its original 2 tone sunburst finish. There is something truly special about the early maple neck Stratocasters and this guitar is no exception. This lightweight example has the perfectly worn in V neck that is comfy up and down the fingerboard. The neck and body are both pencil dated 4-57, visible pot codes are coded 304713 and 304718 dating to the 13th and 18th week of 1957. The original pickups all ring out clearly and sounding wonderful, they read 5.41k, 5.52k, and 5.39k. This is one of the nicest ’57s currently on the market and truly a wonderful example. Comes complete with its original tweed case, bridge cover, and a tremolo arm.
