1980s GTX 20 in fair condition. Sold as a project guitar - I have too many projects.

The pro's: Super cool crackle paintjob is worth the price of admission alone - there are a few flakes of the paint but no gouges or bad chips. The pickups are very large factory single coils - much bigger than on modern Asian guitars - they have a really cool vintage sound and are wired nice and neatly (see last pic). The tremolo bridge is a bit heavier than most modern cheap guitars. I don't have the arm but it fits standard screw in arms.

The cons - the neck has a long crack on the headstock that has an old repair. Its stable and the Ping tuners keep it in tune. The guitar had been strung lefty/upside down Jimi Hendrix style and played quite a bit like that so the nut is reverse worn. I pulled it out to turn it around and string the guitar correctly to get it playable but didn't glue it since it should really have a new nut. It's a great feeling slim D shaped neck but has some fret wear - I was torn between leaving as it and just putting a new nut on there or replacing the neck but have to sell a few things to tackle another project.

Overall it's a mojo machine, plays and sounds cool and with a unique look. It will ship with a gig bag and packed well.
