DESCRIPTION: Vintage photograph, shows Rose Valle Barone, not dated. From the collection of the Barone family of California. We believe the photo album belonged to Mrs. Louisa Valle of Berkeley, California, who was the mother of Rose, who married Mr. Peter C. Barone, and had a daughter Carole born in 1938. The Barone family lived on 1224 Sherman Street in San Jose. Peter's parents were Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Barone, also of San Jose. Some photos show Mamie Valle Lemos, who we believe was Rose's sister. A newspaper clipping from circa 1939 shown below is for provenance only and is not actually included with this sale.
