Constructed from a tri-composite blend of the usual fiberglass, but with far more advanced and technical aramid and kevlar, the MX5 Daytona is unbelievably light compared to a Shoei or an Arai and exudes quality and thought from every single component.
For example, a 3.2 mm thick clear visor sets an industry benchmark and which may not be as quick release as some, but is indestructibly engineered with an allen key system for faultless and fussless changing.
Cheek pads are also removable and even interchangeable for bigger or smaller items.
Even the carry case is a proper quality lined item which all adds up to the impression of a totally customer focused product.
But it is the empirical SHARP test for which the best looking retro helmet on the market remains a legend, achieving the highest possible rating in every area of impact resistance and energy absorption.
DESIGN:
Aggressive and functional, with great attention to details and finish.
SHELL:
In composite fibre, made using the most evolved ulm (ULTRA-LIGHT-MULTIAXIAL) moulding technology available, making it possible to achieve an excellent weight / strength ratio. CHROMED AIR VENTS front and back that, along with the air vents on the chin guard, ensure a continuous airflow inside the helmet. VISOR: flat pilot, injection moulded 3.2 millimetre thick Lexan, with optivision no fog+no drop antifog treatment internally and rain water repelling treatment externally. It is also antiscratch and has a uv filter. Can be prepared for attaching tear-off visors.
INTERIOR:
Made of DRY-FAST-DRY non-allergic and sweat-resistant fabric, that can be removed completely and washed for perfect hygiene and comfort. The removable and replaceable cheek pads made in different sizes provide maximum customised comfort.

Double D-ring.

Postage quoted is for UK Mainland only. A surcharge of £10.00 will be charged on items sent to Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and the Isle of Man. Jersey & Guernsey and the Scottish Islands will incur a £20.00 surcharge. All items are sent by Fast way couriers who operate a tracked insured service and all goods must be signed for on delivery. Please ensure that there will be someone at your registered ebay delivery address to sign for the goods otherwise Fastway will try again next day to deliver and then return the goods to their local depot and leave a card. It will then be your responsibility to go to the depot to collect your item. Our normal order handling time is 1 to 2 working days. All items purchased Friday, Saturday.
