1959 Peerless GT, chassis serial #00198, one of around 325 unit built from 1957 to 1960, these where British low volume performance car built by Peerless founders, Jimmy Byrnes & Bernie Roger, it was built with Triumph TR3 running gear (Front suspension, engine and gearbox) with a rectangular tubing semi-space frame and a deDion rear axle to improve handling, adhesion and road-holding, the coupe 2+2 body was fiberglass.
  This example is in good condition, the body was professionally rebuilt in 2004 and is in excellent condition, all mechanical items where inspect and rebuilt if needed at the time, the engine has been rebuilt before the present owner bought the car in 2002, we don't know how long it was but it run very good and don't show any sign of defect, everything is in very good driving condition, suspension, direction, brake, exhaust system, etc.., everything in very nice shape.
Most of the interior is original and show some sign of normal wear but still drive-able as is or could be redone for a show car.
Base on standard Triumph and British components service is simple and parts are easy to get from any Triumph part dealer.
This car was bought new in Montreal Quebec and according to what we have learned it was for a time use for racing on circuit in Quebec, Ontario and northern New England and New York, these info's where not verified but are rumors and story heard from peoples who knew the originals owners and the car history true those years, so we don't know if the mechanic is all original or not, probably not but everything is for sure as it was built or equivalent.
This should be a very desirable car for any British car collector or somebody who would like to participate in Vintage Racing

Sorry for the mistake, since the car is not mine and I never drove it, I did not know much about it and somebody ask me about the Overdrive and if it was working and i did not know at the time and my answer was incorrect, yes the Overdrive is there and working correctly.
